Altamar Cargo Services SAS (ACS) was founded in 2017, inspired by the legacy of George William Cockerill, a great English businessman in logistics, cargo and ship insurance. Rufo Muñeton and his wife Inna Avanecian found a business opportunity in this sector and decided to create the company with headquarters in the city of Cartagena, with a presence in port cities such as Barranquilla, Santa Marta and Buenaventura.
Rufo is a Maritime Transport Engineer-Economist from the Institute of Engineers of the Odessa Merchant Fleet, former USSR, while Inna Avanecian is a Maritime Transport Financier from the same university. Rufo also has a diploma in "Anatomy of Shipping" from Cambridge, England. Both have been active in the sector since 1986, with more than 50 years of combined experience in managing ports and docks, freight forwarding, general warehouse warehouses, freight and passenger ship agency, regular lines and everything related to the maritime and port logistics.
A man who knows customs norms and regulations, he has participated as a lecturer in symposiums and congresses in which he has demonstrated his experience in the sector and providing solutions in the unions in which he is confederated as the FITAC association, always ready to resolve concerns in customs issues and ensuring total customer satisfaction with the service provided by your company.
